BlackRock Snaps Up Another Ontario Solar Plant

Law360, New York (January 27, 2014, 6:04 PM EST) -- BlackRock Inc. continues to be a steady customer for Canadian Solar Inc. as the solar power project developer announced Monday that it had sold a third utility-scale solar plant in Ontario to the New York-based investment management powerhouse for an undisclosed price.

Canadian Solar subsidiary Canadian Solar Solutions Inc. said BlackRock picked up its 10-megawatt solar plant in Kingston, Ontario, less than four months after buying two plants in Demorestville and Odessa, Ontario, that are capable of producing a combined 20 megawatts of electricity.
