CORRECTED: Justices Won't Hear Enviro-Chem's CERCLA Appeal

Law360, Chicago (January 27, 2014, 6:05 PM EST) -- The former owners of an Indiana Superfund site on Monday lost their bid for U.S. Supreme Court review of a Seventh Circuit decision finding that despite a settlement by other responsible parties with federal regulators, they could still be sued under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act for cleanup costs.
