Scrapped Pipeline Deal Spurs $1.3B Claim In Texas Trial

Law360, Dallas (January 30, 2014, 8:43 PM EST) -- Energy Transfer Partners LP on Thursday told a Dallas jury it’s entitled to between $546 million and $1.3 billion — plus punitive damages — in compensation for what it calls a lost opportunity to partner with Enbridge USA Inc. in a 500-mile Oklahoma-to-Gulf of Mexico pipeline deal.
