Texas Agency Defends Drought Rules In Water Rights Suit

Law360, Dallas (January 27, 2014, 5:13 PM EST) -- Texas’s environmental regulator on Thursday asked an appeals court to reverse a ruling blocking implementation of its drought restrictions on water allocation, arguing the rules don’t harm private water rights and are necessary to protect the public health and safety.
