HP Shareholder Denied Docs In $11B Merger Row

Law360, New York (January 28, 2014, 4:47 PM EST) -- The Delaware Court of Chancery on Friday rejected a Hewlett-Packard Co. shareholder’s request for additional documents to investigate alleged wrongdoing by HP in its bungled $11 billion acquisition of British software company Autonomy Corp. PLC, saying the request was “profoundly overbroad.”
