Freshfields Helps BMO Seal £708M Deal For Asset Manager

Law360, New York (January 28, 2014, 1:17 PM EST) -- Canadian bank BMO Financial Group has agreed to buy U.K. investment manager F&C Asset Management PLC in a deal that values the company at £708 million ($1.17 billion) in an effort to strengthen its asset management business, it said Tuesday.
