GAO Denies Protest Over State Dept. Security Contract

Law360, New York (January 28, 2014, 4:55 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office on Friday denied Coyol International Group’s protest of the State Department’s refusal to extend a proposal deadline, finding that Coyol waited too long before asking for information about the solicitation.

The State Department denied Coyol’s request to extend the deadline by several weeks for its solicitation for local guard services at the U.S. Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria, and at the U.S. Consulate General in Lagos, Nigeria.
