Corpse Harvester Cops A Plea

Law360, New York (March 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Michael Mastromarino pled guilty on all counts Tuesday for allegedly masterminding a grisly scheme involving the harvesting of sometimes diseased body parts from corpses. His potential prison sentence with the plea deal is between 18 and 54 years.

Sentencing is scheduled for May 21, according to Mario Gallucci of Helblock Nappa & Gallucci LLP, who is representing Mastromarino.

“I expect it to go reasonably well, that my client will be sentenced as promised,” Gallucci said Tuesday.
