Fla. Court Bars Town From Holding Development Referendum

Law360, Miami (January 29, 2014, 7:40 PM EST) -- A Florida appeals court on Wednesday reversed a lower court's ruling requiring a public referendum on a Boca Raton development by Archstone Palmetto Park LLC, finding state lawmakers since have made clear that such a referendum goes against the intentions of their 2012 amendment to state law.
