Brazil's GranEnergia Lands $150M Financing For Oil Vessel

Law360, New York (January 30, 2014, 6:54 PM EST) -- International lenders Mizuho Bank Ltd. and Itau BBA International PLC have put up about $150 million in financing for Brazilian oil and gas logistics company GranEnergia to buy a new vessel for operations at the offshore oil and gas field known as the Campos Basin.

The financing from Japan-based Mizuho Bank and Portugal-based Itau BBA will be used by GranEnergia to purchase a compact, semisubmersible, multiservice vessel that will serve as an “accommodations” ship to house rig workers in the Campos Basin, according to a statement...
