Lobbyist Gets 1 Year In Fla. Corruption Case

Law360, Miami (February 6, 2014, 1:21 PM EST) -- A lobbyist who conspired with a former Sweetwater, Fla., mayor in a kickback and bribery scheme to obtain and keep thousands of dollars in federal grant money was sentenced Thursday to one year in prison.
