IRS Says Tea Party Groups Can't Bring Bias Suit

Law360, New York (January 31, 2014, 3:33 PM EST) -- The Internal Revenue Service on Thursday launched another effort to dismiss a class action filed by tea party groups alleging the agency illegally scrutinized conservative organizations' tax-exempt status applications, telling a Ohio federal judge that the groups don't have the authority to sue.
