Expedia, Booking.com OK Discount Deal In UK Antitrust Case

Law360, New York (January 31, 2014, 3:34 PM EST) -- Closing the book on a yearslong investigation by U.K.'s antitrust watchdog, online travel agencies Expedia Inc. and Booking.com BV, as well as hotelier InterContinential Hotels Group PLC, have struck a deal to relax certain discount restrictions the companies had agreed to for hotel room rates, the Office of Fair Trading announced Friday.
