DOD, EPA Propose New Discharge Rule For Military Ships

Law360, Washington (January 31, 2014, 5:28 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Friday issued a joint proposed rule upping standards for certain discharges by armed forces vessels operating in U.S. waters, saying the rule would cut the environmental impact of the vessels and spur the development of related technology.
