Apache Sues For $265M To Cover Pipeline Explosion Suits

Law360, Houston (January 31, 2014, 6:37 PM EST) -- Apache Corp. launched a suit in Texas state court Wednesday against Lloyd’s of London, HCC Insurance Holdings Inc., The Navigators Group Inc., Swiss Re and XL Group, alleging the insurers are refusing to extend $265 million in coverage for lawsuits stemming from an Australian pipeline explosion.
