Cheap Trick Drummer Sues Band For Legal Fees

Law360, Wilmington (January 31, 2014, 5:24 PM EST) -- Cheap Trick's longtime drummer rolled out an indemnification action in Delaware Chancery Court Friday, claiming the band's business entities must pay the legal costs he incurred fighting off a suit brought against him by three fellow bandmates.

The Chancery Court dismissed the bandmates' suit, and drummer Brad M. Carlson contends that as a director of Cheap Trick's Delaware corporations his "successful defense" means the business entities are required by state law to pay him back.
