Emeril, Martha Stewart Settle German Knife Trademark Spat

Law360, New York (February 4, 2014, 2:49 PM EST) -- A German regional trade association has settled its lawsuit claiming Emeril Lagasse and Martha Stewart improperly sold Chinese knives marked as though they were made in Solingen, Germany, the group said Tuesday.

A Florida federal court signed off last week on a permanent injunction against Lagasse, Stewart, the Home Shopping Network and others, resolving claims they sold Emeril-brand knives marked with “Solingen” even though the knives were purportedly manufactured in China.
