Law360, New York (February 4, 2014, 5:58 PM EST) -- Cisco Systems Inc. and Google Inc. announced Tuesday that they had reached a long-term agreement to cross-license each other's patents, saying that the deal stands in "stark contrast" to the tactics of some of their competitors that have licensed their patents to nonpracticing entities.
The tech giants did not disclose the terms of the deal or information about the patents involved, other than to say that they cover "a broad range of products and technologies."
