Fla. Senate Committee Backs Bill To Cut Cellphone Tax

Law360, New York (February 4, 2014, 4:24 PM EST) -- Florida lawmakers on Tuesday took the first steps toward passing legislation that would reduce by 2 percent the state's tax on home satellite services, cellphones and other cellular services, a move the bill's primary sponsor says will save consumers hundreds of millions of dollars annually.
