NJ Atty Sues Former Firm For Cut Of Client Fees

Law360, New York (February 4, 2014, 6:19 PM EST) -- A New Jersey attorney has sued his former law firm for allegedly failing to pay up on a promised percentage of the business that he generated during his employment.

In a Jan. 17 complaint in Morris County Superior Court, Glen F. Haley of Towaco contends that The Margolis Law Firm LLC promised to provide him with not only a base salary but also 25 percent of the net fees that the firm saw from his clients, exclusive of costs.
