Faruqi Tries To Withhold Pay Data In Sex Harassment Row

Law360, New York (February 6, 2014, 8:23 PM EST) -- Faruqi & Faruqi LLP urged a New York federal judge to reconsider an order that attorneys' compensation information be disclosed to a former associate who is suing the firm for sexual harassment, arguing Thursday that the court had made a mistake. 

The defendants — the Faruqi firm, co-founders Lubna and Nadeem Faruqi, and partner Juan Monteverde — took aim at U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein's Jan. 28 order on a discovery dispute, in which he withdrew any limits on relevance he had imposed on discovery requests...
