11th Circ. Affirms Toss Of Guatemalan Workers' Torture Case

Law360, New York (February 6, 2014, 6:07 PM EST) -- The Eleventh Circuit on Thursday ruled that a Guatemalan court's rejection of a case filed by former labor organizers claiming Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. is responsible for their kidnapping and torture in 1999 is not enough to revive the case on American soil.
