2nd Circ. Narrows Injunction In UnitedHealth Doctors Suit

Law360, Miami (February 7, 2014, 6:18 PM EST) -- A Second Circuit panel on Friday modified an injunction preventing UnitedHealth Group Inc. from terminating more than 2,000 Connecticut doctors who are participating providers in its Medicare Advantage plan, giving the doctors 30 days to challenge their dismissals.

In a summary order, the panel denied United's attempt to further reverse the injunction, ruling that the doctors' association that brought the suit had associational standing to bring the suit.
