Crime-Scene Photo Software Co. Wants Copyright Suit Nixed

Law360, San Francisco (February 7, 2014, 7:24 PM EST) -- A company that makes software for authenticating crime-scene photos urged a California federal judge on Friday to end a rival's copyright and false claims case against it, arguing that it accurately tells customers how its software authenticates photos and therefore doesn't violate the Lanham Act.
