Ind. Authority OKs Annual $8M For Chicago Rail Project

Law360, New York (February 10, 2014, 2:12 PM EST) -- The Northwest Indiana Regional Development Authority on Friday approved $8 million per year in matching funds for the estimated $571 million construction of the first phase of a Chicago commuter rail line extension project.

The RDA board of directors approved the funding for the West Lake Corridor commuter rail project, which will connect the northwestern Indiana towns of Munster and Dyer to Chicago, Ill.
