Law360, Los Angeles (February 11, 2014, 4:02 PM EST) -- A California federal judge last week rejected Catheter Connections Inc.’s attempts to dodge rival manufacturer Ivera Medical Corp.’s patent-infringement suit over a device designed to clean intravenous valves used in medical procedures, ruling there remained questions of fact for a jury to determine.
In a decision published Monday, U.S. District Judge Marilyn L. Huff denied Catheter’s motion for summary judgment, ruling that a reasonable jury could find that Catheter’s device contained all the limitations in Ivera’s claims.
