Rothstein Associate Found Guilty For Role In $1.2B Fraud

Law360, Los Angeles (February 11, 2014, 7:54 PM EST) -- A Florida federal jury on Tuesday found a lawyer charged in connection with jailed former attorney Scott Rothstein's $1.2 billion Ponzi scheme guilty on all three wire fraud counts that she faced, following a week-long trial.

Christina Kitterman, 39 – one of 15 individuals hit with criminal charges over the Ponzi scheme – faces a maximum of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a Tuesday statement.
