EPA Asks DC Circ. To Reconsider Truck Emissions Ruling

Law360, New York (February 11, 2014, 7:03 PM EST) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Monday asked a D.C. Circuit panel to review its decision nixing a final rule that would have determined which heavy truck manufacturers must comply with new air standards.

Companies such as Daimler AG that had challenged the rule cheered the panel ruling, which found that one aspect of the rule was procedurally invalid because it was issued without notice or opportunity for comment.
