Keurig Hit With Antitrust Suit Over Alleged Coffee Monopoly

Law360, Los Angeles (February 11, 2014, 8:04 PM EST) -- Coffee maker TreeHouse Foods Inc. said it hit Keurig Inc. with an antitrust suit Tuesday in New York federal court, alleging Keurig penned deals with distributors and manufacturers to illegally maintain a monopoly over cups for its single-serve coffee brewers after its patents expired.
