Ski Resorts Can't Be Blamed For Avalanches, Court Says

Law360, New York (February 13, 2014, 5:43 PM EST) -- A Colorado appeals court ruled for the first time Thursday that avalanches fall under a state law that protects ski resorts from liability for many skiing-related accidents, upholding the dismissal of a wrongful death lawsuit against a resort operator.
