Microsoft Wants Patent Suit Over .NET Framework Tossed

Law360, Los Angeles (February 13, 2014, 9:47 PM EST) -- Microsoft Corp. urged a California federal judge on Thursday to throw out software company Enfish LLC's lawsuit alleging Microsoft's .NET Framework software infringes two Enfish patents, saying the patents are invalid and the functionality in dispute was found in Microsoft's Excel before the patents were issued.
