ITC Finds Potential Harm To US Cos. In Chinese Solar Case

Law360, New York (February 14, 2014, 3:11 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission on Friday found the U.S. solar industry may be harmed by Chinese imports that allegedly benefit from government subsidies and are sold in the U.S. at unfairly low prices.

The ITC found, in a preliminary determination, there is a “reasonable indication” that the U.S. industry has suffered as a result of certain Chinese and Taiwanese solar product imports that have allegedly been subsidized and dumped in the U.S. market.
