Kind Bar Sues Clif Bar To Bar New Packaging

Law360, New York (February 14, 2014, 3:16 PM EST) -- Snack bar maker Kind LLC is fighting to stop snack rival Clif Bar & Co. from using new packaging that Kind says infringes its trademark-protected wrappers and logos, the company said Thursday.

Kind lodged a trademark infringement suit last week and spent this week arguing for a preliminary injunction barring Clif from continuing the rollout of its Mojo Bars in new packaging — semi-clear wrappers that Kind says mimic its long-time look.
