Toshiba's Attempt To Trim Excite-Tablet Patent Suit Flops

Law360, Los Angeles (February 14, 2014, 9:37 PM EST) -- A Texas federal judge on Friday denied Toshiba Corp.’s bid to dodge most of a patent infringement suit over the ways users could unlock its Excite tablet, ruling that plaintiff Tierra Intelectual Borinquen Inc. properly alleged direct, contributory and induced infringement.
