LPS To Pay Nev. $6M In Final Robosign Deal

Law360, Los Angeles (February 14, 2014, 9:23 PM EST) -- Lender Processing Services Inc. will pay $6 million to the state of Nevada to exit a suit in which the state claimed the company had falsified or forged thousands of documents related to home foreclosures from 2005 to 2008 and then tried to cover up the fraud, the state’s attorney general said Friday.
