New Trial Denied, $1.9M Of Damages Added In Suture IP Row

Law360, Los Angeles (February 18, 2014, 9:09 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday rejected device maker Arthrex Inc.’s bid for a new trial after a federal jury awarded $29 million to rival KFx Medical Corp. for Arthrex's infringement of suture-related patents, while granting KFx’s request for $1.9 million in additional damages.
