Deals Rumor Mill: Morrison, Shell, Ardagh

The supermarket operator's founding family has been considering selling the company after a lag in Christmas sales, and has since approached investment outfits to gauge their interest. The size of the transactions, expected to be one of the largest in the U.K.'s retail sector, would likely require a joint bid from multiple private equity houses....
