NJ High Court To Mull Hospitals' Charitable Immunity

Law360, New York (February 20, 2014, 7:48 PM EST) -- The Supreme Court of New Jersey last week agreed to hear an appeal from a woman who claims a nonprofit hospital’s charitable organization status doesn’t exempt it from liability for injuries she sustained in a slip-and-fall while receiving free eye care at the facility.
