Volkswagen Offers $9.2B For The Rest Of Scania

Law360, New York (February 21, 2014, 5:40 PM EST) -- German auto giant Volkswagen AG said Friday that it will offer to buy out minority shareholders in Swedish truck maker Scania AB in an approximately €6.7 billion ($9.2 billion) deal that would bolster Volkswagen's commercial vehicles segment.

Volkswagen said in a statement that it will offer 200 Swedish kronor (€22.29) per share to the Scania shareholders for all Scania A and Scania B shares.
