Appeals Court Clears Way For 9/11 Worker Suits

Law360, New York (March 26, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has cleared the way for thousands of lawsuits by ground zero workers who claim New York City authorities failed to protect them from toxic exposure at the site.

Judges Jon O. Newman, Sonia Sotomayor and Richard C. Wesley of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit dismissed the city's appeal for summary judgment on Wednesday.
