Atty In Bid-Rigging Plot Deserved Disbarment, Court Says

Law360, Los Angeles (February 24, 2014, 9:03 PM EST) -- Maryland's high court said Monday that it had disbarred a Baltimore attorney convicted of conspiring to rig bids at tax lien auctions, affecting tens of millions of dollars, because he broke rules of conduct for lawyers and didn't argue he deserved a lesser sanction.
