Michelle Obama's Jeweler Sues Reality Stars Over Designs

Law360, New York (February 25, 2014, 6:47 PM EST) -- Loree Rodkin, a jewelry designer famous for her work for First Lady Michelle Obama, has lodged a federal lawsuit accusing erstwhile reality television star Lisa Gastineau of stealing copyrighted designs.

Rodkin, who designed jewelry worn by Obama to the 2009 inaugural ball and has produced pieces worn by Cher, Madonna and Elton John, says Gastineau and her socialite daughter Brittny have been ripping off her famous jewelry for their own line called Tres Glam.
