WTO Services Trade Talks Gain Steam But End Without Deals

Law360, New York (February 25, 2014, 5:28 PM EST) -- The latest round of negotiations for a new services trade agreement concluded without a deal on Monday, though the talks continued to gain steam, European Union leaders reported.

In a statement, the European Commission said that 21 of the 23 countries who participated in the forum in Geneva, Switzerland, have submitted offers for an agreement, with the only exceptions of Paraguay and Pakistan, which have yet to offer proposals of their own.
