Fla. Judge Accused Of Professional Code Violations

Law360, Miami (February 27, 2014, 7:35 PM EST) -- The Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission's investigative panel gave notice of formal charges Tuesday against Circuit Court Judge Andrew J. Decker III for a series of alleged violations during his 2012 campaign and while he was a practicing attorney.

Decker, who began his term on the Third Judicial Circuit in January 2013, has 20 days to file a response to the charges, which include violations of several provisions of the judicial canons, the Florida Rules of Professional Conduct and the Florida Statutes.
