Danish Credit Agency Injects $600M Into Cape Wind Farm

Law360, New York (February 26, 2014, 3:32 PM EST) -- The Cape Wind offshore wind farm will receive a $600 million loan from Denmark's Export Credit Agency, the two parties said Wednesday, marking the second big Danish investor in the controversial $2.5 billion project.

The project, which launched 12 years ago and is the first U.S. offshore wind farm, has sparked a flurry of litigation from environmental groups that fear it could harm wildlife.
