Attys Can't Freeze Fees From $12M Bronx Pollution Deal

Law360, New York (February 26, 2014, 7:02 PM EST) -- A New York judge refused Wednesday to freeze $2.4 million in legal fees earned in connection with a $12 million settlement of allegations concerning a Bronx landfill's deadly contamination, saying that the lawyers bringing the clawback bid hadn’t met the standard for a preliminary injunction.
