NLRB GC Lays Out Priorities In Mandatory Advice Memo

Law360, New York (February 26, 2014, 8:51 PM EST) -- National Labor Relations Board General Counsel Richard Griffin issued a memorandum on cases that regional offices should submit to headquarters for guidance, highlighting priorities that include cases involving employees' right to use employer email systems and Weingarten rights in the non-union context.

The memorandum updates the list of matters that it is mandatory for the NLRB's regional offices to submit to the board's Division of Advice in Washington, D.C., which is the arm of the general counsel's office that provides legal advice.
