Fed. Circ. Nixes CyberFone Patent In Warner Bros., CBS Suits

Law360, New York (February 26, 2014, 5:44 PM EST) -- The Federal Circuit on Wednesday upheld a lower court's ruling that invalidated a patent CyberFone Systems LLC alleged Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., CBS Interactive Inc. and dozens of other companies infringed because it covers an abstract concept rather than a specific invention.
