Infusion Pump Co. Tells Jury Rival Had Plan To Infringe IP

Law360, Los Angeles (February 26, 2014, 6:37 PM EST) -- Medical device maker I-Flow LLC and its owner, Kimberly-Clark Worldwide Inc., delivered opening statements Wednesday in their suit against Progressive Medical Inc., telling a California federal jury that Progressive knowingly infringed I-Flow's intellectual property with its AccuFlo and AccuRx infusion pumps.

I-Flow's attorney Boris Zelkind of Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP told the jury that Progressive knew that it was infringing I-Flow's patent when it brought its infusion pumps on the market, and only did so because it believed its suppliers would bear the risks...
