Developer Seeks Dismissal Of $100M Helicopter Crash Suit

Law360, Miami (February 28, 2014, 8:10 PM EST) -- Billionaire developer Jeffrey Soffer on Thursday asked a Florida court to dismiss a $100 million suit over the death of a prominent Miami tax attorney in a Bahamas helicopter crash, arguing that the plaintiff has no standing to sue because she was not married to the attorney.
